Hi! I’m Georgia, Founder of Friends of Friends!

I grew up in a home where the door was always open. My parents welcomed strangers in like family and that spirit of radical hospitality has never left me.

After nearly 50 Speed Friending events and years of community building in Guelph, I founded Friends of Friends on a simple belief: curiosity is the spark that drives connection and that spark can be taught and nurtured through intentional gathering.

The Connection Expo is my biggest gathering yet. Inspired from The Connection Expo hosted by Hayley Ingersoll in Pittsburgh, I saw the success she created and I thought Guelph should have this too!
